Project Coordinator
Zakiya D. Thaggard is a Program Coordinator for the Mississippi Health Advocacy Program. A native of Jackson, Mississippi, she holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management and a Bachelor of Social Work from Jackson State University. Her work focuses on public health advocacy, community engagement, and advancing health equity across Mississippi. Zakiya loves God above all, enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with her fur baby, Ginger Grace.
