Communications Coordinator
M'Bre Walker is the Communications Coordinator for the Mississippi Health Advocacy Program (MHAP), where she leads communication efforts supporting health policy, health education, and community-based initiatives across Mississippi. Since joining MHAP in 2024, M'Bre has supported grant-funded initiatives including the HRSA State Maternal Health Innovation Project by managing communications strategies, coordinating community event, and elevating lived experiences to inform outreach and advocacy efforts through story collecting. She plays a key role in maintaining MHAP's web content, developing press and advocacy materials, and supporting communication and community engagement.
M'Bre earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Southern Mississippi, and will receive her Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Health Promotion and Health Behaviors in May 2026. In her free time, M'Bre enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, and drawing.
