Mississippi is experiencing a rise in positive COVID-19 cases in sixteen counties so far. The latest COVID-19 cases in the stateThe Mississippi Department of Health reported Monday that 675 new cases of the virus appeared over the weekend, bringing the total number of reported cases in the state to 115,088. Eight additional deaths from coronavirus-related complications were also reported. In total, 3,263 people in Mississippi have died due to virus, according to state figures released Monday.
