Mississippi could receive more than 20,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine soon

More than 20,000 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine could be in Mississippi by as early as next week, State Health Officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs said Monday. In a tweet, Dobbs reminded the public that a vaccine from pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is set to be reviewed for emergency use authorization on Thursday.
