Tell Lawmakers Thanks for their Voting YES for a 68 Cent Cigarette Tax News

Last Week the Senate and House took up HB 364 and both chambers passed a 68 cent cigarette tax that will provide much needed revenue for the state while leading to a reduction in youth smoking and general consumption.
The historic nature of this event was noted by Chairman Percy Watson today as he reminded legislators that Mississippi has not passed a cigarette tax in a generation.
