After the meeting, Ashley Scales, 19, of Madison said she had been “against health care reform after watching reports on TV.
“Now, I’m for it,” said Scales, a biology major at Millsaps College in Jackson. “I realize you can’t just think of yourself.”
Parker said his health reform group has about 40 members, whose goal is to give a voice to others like them.
