Universal Healthcare, Obama notwithstanding, and the media also, is NOT dead. Very much alive, throughout the civilized, intelligent world. Very much alive also in our language, health and economy, alive, but not perceived by anyone….except Don Lanquist. And those whom I have emailed (faxed)to some 150/congressional lawmakers, as follows:

Embedded Health-Care, A U.S. economic/health pandemic.
For discussion and debate.
It’s time to scrap the 2,000/pages of Healthcare double-talk and sub my ONE-PAGE universal healthcare proposal, and in the process, tell the nation, and the world, the truth as to why, when intelligent nations were indeed, intelligent, We the People and They the Lawmakers of the United States of America, connived together, to exploit their mutual reluctance (defiance)to include healthcare entitlements for Blacks.

On the collective scale, We the People, in concert with, They the Lawmakers, made a colossal mistake. As “the Republic for which it stands” We and They, unconscionably, and consciously shunned its opportunity (function) to join the civilized, intelligent nations in universal healthcare.

Result: 350/million US residents, insured or not, are now transferring un-recordable $billions, or perhaps $trillions, directly to healthcare carriers each time they buy something, or pay a tax (federal, state, county, city, townships, fireman, police, city workers, etc, etc) a tangled maze of random infrastructure which plays havoc on our nations’ health and sinking economy,

For instance: GM’s acknowledged factor for workers’ healthcare ($1600). Add to this: embedded healthcare factors for all GM vendors and vendors’ sub-vendors, and you shall understand why GM has failed to outsell foreign cars, all due to our non-system, random, healthcare fiasco, a sink-hole in our already sinking economy.

Over 17/million new cars sold in 2007. Each embedded with additional factors: registration, insurance, car-loans, permits, etc…all of these, also, with overlaying embedded healthcare factors, thus pyramiding unrecorded healthcare factors to perhaps $trillions transferring, randomly, to healthcare carriers (insurance corporations).

What does this say about our privately-operated, profit-driven healthcare fiasco, the product of, We the People and, They the Lawmakers? It says to me, We and They, were (are) too stubborn to join the civilized world in caring for all its “under God” residents. Further, my solution to our healthcare dilemma should be self-evident. Healthcare, to cover an entire nations’ citizens, must, never again be unconscionably contrived to include un-recordable, unregulated profit now contaminating, infecting the national economy.

My one-page solution to universal healthcare already exists: non-profit National Defense, wherein profit flows only to providers (makers of tanks, warplanes, warships, munitions, etc, etc). A perfect model for non-profit, universal healthcare, wherein profit flows only to market-place, free-agent medical providers (hospitals, doctors, nurses, dentists, therapists, and other medical servers), wherein $billions? of bloated embedded healthcare factors will be removed in-total from the nations’ super-inflated economy. Under federal, universal, non-profit healthcare, free-agent, marketplace providers will comply with certified national standards for adequate training, and for current technical equipment sufficient to care for our nations’ population, with “best in the world” healthcare.

Results under my proposal:
No more bankrupts and deaths because of healthcare denial, all U.S. Under-God residents will be covered (pre-existing conditions of poverty not-withstanding), Those now choosing not to enrich profit-driven carriers will become contributing partners, all wages will increase, all prices will decrease including export prices, which will bring large reductions in our trade deficits. Last but not least, we will join the rest of the civilized and intelligent world in caring for its citizens yearning to be free of useless, care-less, profit-driven corporations. If this affects my good? federal retiree coverage negatively, so be it, if it benefits my five daughters struggling to be free of care-less, profit-driven, healthcare corporations.

Aside: AP (Associated Press) demonstrated: that carriers’ profits are extremely low (about 2%) that we must think kindly of them. United HealthCare corporation, reported via internet stock market listings: $4.7 billion profit in its prior 12/mo. period. Now, with AARP as its TV spokesman, its annual profit-report is no longer listed, nor otherwise obtainable. My hand-held calculator suffered a thrombosis in attempting to determine the trillions in gross revenue which might have fully funded single-payer, universal healthcare.
Strangely enough, Blue Cross just announced their prior-year profit as $4.7/ Billion, also.
